Respected survey of non-financial institution clients recognises UniCredit as the Market Leader for Cash Management services in 9 individual countries, as well as in Central and Eastern Europe. UniCredit economists expect the economies in EU-CEE to grow by around 3.0% in 2024 and 2025, with similar growth rates in the Western Balkans. “The growth rate of the CEE region is close to potential this year, while in Western Europe, at 0.5%, it is below potential”, commented Dan Bucsa, UniCredit’s Chief CEE Economist during The Central and Eastern European Forum, held in Vienna. UniCredit is a lead sponsor of the event, which in 2024 attracted 1200 attendees from 45 countries.

18 non-profit programs combating educational inequalities across 10 UniCredit countries announced as winners. In Slovenia, the Association of Friends of Youth Ljubljana Moste - Polje received funds for their Study Buddy project - a learning support program for 400 children and young people in the Central Slovenia region. The aim of the program is to help children improve their learning and social skills, knowledge, attitude towards school work and the school environment. They also want the initiative to empower their parents to gain more knowledge about how they can help their children.

The UniCredit Foundation and Junior Achievement Europe joined forces in July thanks to the launch of a three-year partnership, with the aim of supporting young people in developing new skills that will enable them to be better prepared for employment, self-employment or entrepreneurship. The new established cooperation with Dewesoft and Katapult, represents an additional step towards the promotion of the entrepreneurial spirit among students. The President of the country also expressed support for promising young people on the event.

The average number of working hours per inhabitant in the euro area decreased by approximately 90 hours per year, even by 180 hours in Austria. In the field of reduced working hours, a growth trend is clearly visible, in 2022 the share of part-time employees in the euro area was 20.5%, compared to about 13% in 1995. The reduction of working hours is offset by a strong increase in productivity, employees in the euro area have since 1995 on average, they became almost 25% more productive.

Amundi Funds Pioneer Global Equity received awards in the two most prestigious categories of global equity funds for three and ten years. In own category, the Amundi Funds US Pioneer Fund and Amundi Funds Emerging World Equity received awards for the ten-year period.

The Best Mutual Fund 2023 certificate is an award granted by the Moje Finance magazine, which conducted a survey of mutual funds on the Slovenian market.
